Welcome to my portfolio!

Telling stories that resonate starts with vision. Mine is making everyday challenges—from managing a chronic illness, to trying a first-of-its kind gene therapy, to shrinking gaps in health equity— a little more possible by using words that convey empathy and authenticity, and that empower people to trust in themselves.

I’m a hungry reader, after all, and these are what my favorite novels do for me.

Concepting Work

The vision: inviting, empowering, and authentic support for health and wellness challenges.

Disease state: Post-partum depression (unbranded awareness campaign)

Disease state: Non-malignant tumor treatment for teens and young adults

Brand: first-ever gene therapy for sickle cell disease

Brand/Product: Ultra-early detection test for cancer cells

Disease state: Major depression disorder

Spearheading this project at my agency, I worked closely with an art partner to come up with a bold site that would activate doctors to reflect on their current practices and change their behavior.

From idea inception to launch, I built a team to bring a pro bono campaign championing health equity for Black pregnant women to life. GAP-SPIRIN addresses the gap in maternal health outcomes for Black women by directly targeting doctors with a message to meet the needs of their Black patients. Gapspirin is a real medical tool as well as a call to action—stop systemic racism and “close the gap” in preeclampsia care leading to preventable deaths for Black mothers.

Supportive resources (work samples)

The vision: resources, designed with the sickle cell disease community in mind, that motivate and affirm people at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
